Our Shop
At ASAP, we pride ourselves in having all of the latest and best equipment to ensure high quality and speedy turn-around times to our customers.
We currently have an automated machine for most every task necessary to assemble all types of rectangular ductwork.
Departments
Welding shop
- We have 2 full-time welders capable of handling most any tasks needed to complete the job from grease duct to curb caps and drain pans.
Accessories dept
- We make all cut-to-length slips, drives, barlocks, ductmate frames, vanes, etc.
Quality Control dept
- Full-time to ensure order accuracy and quality.
Equipment
- Full length Iowa Precision coil line capable of making a variety of 5' lengths of straight duct as fast as 15 seconds per joint with most any type of seam and connector needed to get the job done.
- Vulcan 1000B Plasma cutting system with two 10' tables.
- Vulcan 1600 water-jet insulation cutting machine.
- Male & Female Pittsburgh and snaplock roll formers by Lockformer.
- TDC Roll Forming machine by Lockformer.
- 3 hand brakes capable of ranging anywhere from 14 to 26 gauge metal.
- Hydraulic shear.
- Miscellaneous rollers and benders for square-to-rounds, hammerlock taps, round reducers, etc.
